Marcel & Yvonne

Marcel Battenberg will pamper you with finest dishes and many years of experience. During his roaming and learning years he worked with many great chefs in famous restaurants all over Europe, such as the Bellevue Palace in Switzerland, at the Bayreuth Festival as well as in the 3 Michelin star restaurant of Dieter Müller in Germany. In 2002 he left Germany for Mallorca. For the first two years he worked as a second head chef in the Restaurant Ca´s Puers in Sóller.

Here he met his now partner Yvonne. She is taking care of the service area in the Restaurant Es Passeig. Her apprenticeship started in the 5 Star hotel Schlosshotel Bühlerhöhe in Baden-Baden, in the south-western part of Germany. After this she moved to London in order to work with The Hempel, a 5 Star Preferred Hotel.

In Mallorca, above others, she worked in El Olivo, the restaurant of the Hotel La Residencia in Deià.

And now, we are looking forward to welcome you as our guests of Es Passeig.
